This is me!

My name is Katie and I am a 20 something year old Wisconsin girl living in Boulder, Colorado. I live here with my husband, Tyler. When I have time, I enjoy crafting, trying new recipes, online shopping, being outside and spending time with friends and family!

You may be asking yourself, how does a Wisconsin girl end up in Boulder, Colorado? Well, about 4 years ago, I had recently graduation from Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Tyler had been out of school for about a year. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. We had been dating for about 8 years and we thought, well, if we are going to take an adventure, now is the perfect time. We both started looking for jobs all over. Long story short, Tyler got offered a job with an internet marking agency in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We moved here in August of 2011 and have fallen in love with everything about it, especially the views.

Here is a quick recap of the past 3 years in Boulder, and how we became “The Oestreichs”:

2011-2012 was the first year in Boulder. Our first year living together. Let’s just say we learned a lot about each other!

In August of 2012, Tyler got down on one knee and asked me to marry him on a hike in Estes Park, CO!

In January of 2014, surrounded by our family and friends, Tyler and I were married in Negril, Jamaica. Check out more pictures from our wedding week here.

And in June of 2014, we went back to Wisconsin and had a big wedding celebration! Who wouldn’t want to celebrate their wedding again?!
